Senior chef for Jamie Oliver now heading up two Jersey restaurants.
After more than ten years as Senior Sous Chef for Jamie Oliver at the much televised London restaurant ‘Fifteen’, Trevor Howard has brought his vast experience and skills to Jersey.
The Club Hotel & Spa has just launched its Bohemian Afternoon Tea Collection this June 2014. Inspired by the summer months and the hotel’s idyllic Island setting, pastries include Gariguette Strawberry & Mint Iced Lolly, and seashell-shaped Pina Colada Délice.
Stay on at Hamptonne after La Faîs’sie d’Cidre to enjoy cider and live music in the entertainment marquee. There will be delicious seasonal food on offer as well as ciders and perries from the CAMRA tent and La Robeline trailer.
Another local tradition that is being kept alive is black butter making which uses the season’s crop of apples.Organised by the National Trust for Jersey, the weekend sees volunteers spending hours peeling, stirring and bottling one of Jersey’s traditional delicacies that has been made on farms for centuries.
